
What is Health Coaching ?

Although blood sugar balancing is often associated with people who are diabetic, it is also the new way forward as a foundation for health and wellbeing for all of us. Knowing how to include a variety of colourful foods with nutritional benefits is also key. You may also discover through the coaching process that your sleep is less than ideal, or your caffeine intake needs adjustment or your rest and relax time is lacking.
We are often coerced into lifestyle habits and patterns by the demands of our jobs or the necessities of our family life, but there comes a time when we must pause and assess the path we are on and the potential difficulties that we may face and be guided gently and carefully onto a more effective path. This is the passion of a Health Coach.
A professional Health Coach is a type of Life Coach who is trained to specialise in Health, Nutrition and Wellbeing.
Health Coaches care deeply about, and have the skills and training to influence health and wellbeing using specific methods of enquiry which are designed to reveal barriers and their solutions in 'client led' sessions which form a Health Coaching Programme. Combined with tailored nutritional guidance which is based on establishing and maintaining balanced blood sugar levels while at the same time including a diverse variety of nutritional intake, the client can learn to properly serve the body in wellness which can be maintained in the long term.
